SERVICE MANAGER

We are searching for a Solar Service Manager that has prior experience is solar PV and hot water. This person will manage a staff of 4 to 5 coordinators and field technicians. This person should be able to take customer calls to troubleshoot, RMA defective equipment, and train field personnel and be able to install solar hot water if needed.

A top-notch Service Coordinator will demonstrate excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and be passionate about customer service and self- improvement. Ideal candidates should be great brand ambassadors who are willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.

Service Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Promptly responding to customer inquiries via email, and phone.
• Works directly with coordinators and field technicians
• Manages daily schedule, tickets, and collections.
• Follow as well as create effective customer service procedures, policies, and standards
• Acts as liaison between clients and company to find the best solutions to customers’ issues.
• Identifying common problems and escalating them to management, along with possible suggestions for improvement, wherever possible.
• Obtaining and sharing customer feedback with colleagues and other departments so that products and services can be improved.
• Familiarizing yourself with new products and services as they are introduced.
• Attending workshops and meetings as required.
• Maintaining a polite, helpful, and professional manner at all times.
• Respecting client confidentiality at all times.
• Be comfortable with generating proposals and collecting revenues for services rendered.

Service Manager Requirements:

• Previous experience in the Solar Industry preferred
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience with CRM software preferred.
• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
• The ability to respond appropriately under pressure.
• The ability to multi-task.
• Sound judgment and excellent problem-solving skills.
• A positive attitude and the ability to build relationships with clients and coworkers.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills.
• Can work independently and as a team.

Job Duties:

• Light remote PV monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Answer incoming customer inquiries.
• Managing service schedule and ticket collections.
• Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies.
• Record customer information within our customer service database.
• Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns.
• Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies.
• Other duties as requested.
