Founded by a guy that just needed a part for the restoration of his 1970's Porsche 914 (AKA the Poor Man's Porsche), the company is looking for someone to manage their online presence, product and e-commerce platform.

The E-Commerce Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategy and implementation of all marketing programs and e-commerce operations efforts – across all mediums, formats and channels. In addition, they are responsible for managing and maintaining the various e-commerce tools available, product catalog, product details, promotions, discounts, outreach efforts, eBay sales, and various sales initiatives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
E-Commerce Strategy
· Oversee and manage the ecommerce function of the company with a significant online presence.
· Research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas, or gather information to determine potential sales of a product or service, or create a marketing campaign. Gather information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution.
E-Commerce Operations
· Maintain Zoey, adding and updating products as needed.
· Determine sales promotions including discounts, coupons, and other promotions
- Compose descriptions of merchandise for posting to online storefront, auction sites, or other shopping web sites.
- Compose images of products, using video or still cameras, lighting equipment, props, or photo or video editing software.
- Upload digital media, such as photos, video, or scanned images to online storefront, auction sites, or other shopping Web sites
- Monitor and analyse sales promotion results to determine cost effectiveness of promotion campaigns
Sales & Marketing Strategy
· Research and develop new online marketing strategies - keep abreast of new developments in the e-marketing world.
· Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction
· Make decisions about the website, social media accounts, newsletter, and online advertising
· Develop advertising and promotional campaigns targeting customer segments
· Develop print marketing programs and materials
- Assist with product development and pricing rationales
- Identify and develop contacts for promotional campaigns and industry programs that meet identified buyer targets, such as dealers, distributors, or consumers.
Sales & Marketing Operations
· Responsible for determining the format and features of the website in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers
· Provide graphics design services as needed for digital and print communications, the website, and social media
· Plan, direct, or coordinate advertising policies and programs or produce collateral materials, such as posters, contests, coupons, or give-aways, to create extra interest in the purchase of a product or service for a department, an entire organization, or on an account basis
· Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase sales of products or services, working with customers, company officials, sales departments, and advertising agencies
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
· Research the company’s core demographics and how to best reach them, in order to maximize search engine traffic and the effect of the company’s targeted ad buys
Required Skills/Abilities
· Strong interpersonal, customer service and influencing skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proven analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
· Strong knowledge of systems, workflows and quality control design and reporting
· Proficiency with reporting tools, and spreadsheets preferred
· Graphics - working with pictures in graphics programs or other applications, including creating simple graphics, manipulating the appearance, and inserting graphics into other programs
· Knowledge of Agile or Lean techniques preferred
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in managing E-comm systems and related work
· Demonstrated mastery of graphic design and image processing software
· Understanding of marketing principals including product-pricing, sales channels, market segmentation, and competitive differentiation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
