DITCH WITCH OF THE CAROLINAS

Inside Equipment Sales and Rentals

An industry leader in sales and service of underground utility and construction equipment, has served the Carolinas since 1974 with headquarters in Charlotte, NC and three full-service branches in South Carolina..

Primary Responsibilities:

• Primary contact for walk-in, call-in, internet inquiries and other sources of leads for equipment sales and rentals.
• Assist customers in person at the dealership and by phone to properly identify their equipment needs, application, budget and time-line
• Provide literature, specs, rental rates, quotes, information and assistance to customers
• Update CRM & provide prospect information to the territory sales reps with a sense of urgency
• Monitor the sales and rental pipeline on a daily basis; provide updated information and alerts to management
• Assist Sales Department with quotes, specs, and information as needed to facilitate sales and rentals.
• Maintain misc files for the Sales Department
• Show and demonstrate equipment on the yard to prospective buyers; Work with rental customers on safety and proper operation of the equipment.
• Coordinate customer rentals from start to finish with internal departments and outside sales

Requirements:

• Previous experience in construction equipment sales and rentals in a related industry preferred
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Assertive ; self-motivated
• Ability to operate and demonstrate compact equipment
• 3-year driving record determined insurable by our insurance carrier
• Basic MS Word, Excel, Email & CRM proficiency
