Job summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic professional to join our team as a Sales Operations Director. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer insights to provide strategic recommendations to optimize sales performance. Additionally, you will oversee and lead the account management team, setting sales targets, developing sales strategies, and driving the achievement of revenue goals. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of sales processes and strategies.

Responsibilities
Sales Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for sales growth.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation to gain insights and drive effective sales strategies.
- Develop and maintain sales reports, create and maintain custom reports for the sales department ( ex. Ad Hoc and Canned reports), dashboards, and forecasting models to monitor performance and provide actionable insights to sales management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and finance, to align sales analysis with overall business objectives.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Define sales objectives and targets in alignment with company goals and market conditions.
- Evaluate and optimize sales processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance sales team productivity and efficiency.
- Organize of inbound and outbound account pipelines
- Support the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) in achieving revenue goals
Account Management Team Oversight:
- Lead and manage the account management team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of motivation and achievement.
- Document SOPs for sales department
- Set sales targets and quotas, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Handle sales requests related to Salesforce, operations, projects, tech, finance/QuickBooks, and marketing
- Foster a positive and collaborative sales culture, promoting teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, training, and workshops to enhance the sales team's skills and knowledge.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and affiliates.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies, ensuring consistent messaging and effective lead generation.
- Work closely with the CRO to provide insights and recommendations on sales performance, market trends, and business growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in roles such as Sales Administration, Sales Operations, Data Analysis, Product Marketing, or Solar Industry.
- Creating SOPs: Standardize workflows and train team members.
- Outside/Inside Sales: Identify leads, pitch, negotiate, and maintain client relationships.
- Account Management: Support clients, analyze accounts, and upsell/cross-sell.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
- Adaptable and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to handle multiple projects and switch gears effectively.
- Proficient in multitasking and working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proven track record of taking initiative and driving successful outcomes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Skilled in using office productivity software like Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Hubspot
- Experienced in utilizing data analysis and visualization tools, including spreadsheets and business intelligence software
- Knowledge of renewable energy and/or the fintech industry is required
- This position may require occasional travel to various locations for business-related purposes including training, quarterly meetings, and tradeshows.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
