Full description of the position

As the Manager, Sales Training, you will implement sales training strategy and programs within Red Bull Distribution Company (RBDC). In collaboration with RBNA Sales Training, you will build and evaluate instructor-led learning programs. You will also manage external vendors, use the learning management system to track progress, and facilitate training programs to produce desired behavior change in RBDC's sales organization from entry level sales roles to managers and senior leaders. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Sales Training and be located in Denver, Colorado.

  • DRIVE EXECUTION

    The Sales Training Manager plays an executional role in the Sales training department. You will create training program execution through the facilitation of online resources, training programs, and learning materials. Additionally, you will implement learning plans for each learner segment within RBDC. These learning plans will accommodate the roles within the organization and reflect the most appropriate timing to ensure relevance of the learning.

  • TALENT DEVELOPMENT

    Build training execution plans and materials to meet our priorities including: capability identification and assessment, some training design tasks, development (with external partners), implementation and evaluation.

    Use technology to ensure creative learning solutions are engaging, preserving instructor-led training for transformational learning.

    Ensure sustainable development solutions that produce excellent results and are evaluated and improved.

  • SALES TRAINING

    Direct RBDC's sales training programs to ensure maximum effectiveness of the sales team. Conduct periodic needs analysis with the Senior Manager of Sales Training to determine knowledge gaps and training needs.

    Focus on delivery and materials that provide engaging, and results driven training. Monitor participants' results and use to enhance training and provide additional development programs.

    Achieve sales training operational goals by contributing sales training information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement productivity, quality, and learning and development professional standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends; determine sales training system improvements; and implement executional change.

    Incorporate realistic and context appropriate training topics by studying sales strategic plans and current sales results; confer with sales leaders; review results of training program coaching; and evaluate training effectiveness.

    Develop job results resources by designing information systems; maintain libraries and databases; build interactive and integrated job support systems.

  • ANALYTICS

    You will collaborate with the analytics and sales training team to establish metrics that measure the performance and success of ongoing training programs. Through this process, the Sales Training Manager identifies points of improvement and develops solutions that improve the effectiveness of training programs. Also assisting with preparing and participating in senior management reporting for the purpose of strategy formulation and informed decision-making.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

  • 3+ years of related experience in a talent management, development, or training role
  • Knowledge of CPG sales including, trade programs, pricing, product assortment, promotion, and execution.
  • Experience managing and facilitating sales learning experiences with sales personnel.
  • Knowledge base in organizational capability development, sales capability development
  • Experience in training systems, tools, and processes.
  • Experience growing professional level talent (Sales Training/Learning and Development)
  • Proficiency in LMS/HRIS systems
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree
  • English, additional languages an advantage
  • Travel 0-10%
