Full description of the position
Inside Sales & Rental Coordinator
Position: Inside Sales & Rental Coordinator
Reports to: Sales Manager
Principal Accountabilities of the Position
- Direct, assist and coordinate the sales & rental of Bobcat & other products inside the branch.
- Working in conjunction with the Sales & Inventory Managers, update and maintain the used equipment online inventory for location. This includes descriptions, pictures, hours & pricing.
- National account point of contact for all qualifying customers in the area
Essential Functions
- Identify additional sales & rental opportunities with customers.
- Coordinate sales & rental transactions with customers at the branch location.
- Develop sales management system inclusive of:
- Customer sales information and contacts recorded in record database for leads on future sales.
- Lost sales recorded in Bobcat lost order system.
- Create system to list follow-up dates to reach out to customers based upon the product originally purchased.
- Prepare sales activity report.
- Actively participate in associations that the Company utilizes to support and/or increase the customer base.
- Develop and execute sales plans and programs, both short and long term, to meet sales goals to ensure growth and expansion of Companys customer base.
- Sales meeting with management to discuss sales progress and any new ideas to generate more sales.
- Achieve sales objectives within designated budgets.
- Assist in the planning of advertising and promotional activities.
- Maintain Companys image in all activities and promotional materials sponsored or supported by the Company.
- Work closely with management to ensure customers receive the best service and support.
- Work with the Sales Clerk to ensure that:
- All invoices are properly prepared and submitted.
- All credits and incentives are filed and received.
- Appropriate financing documents are timely filed.
- Money from sales is collected from customers.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Sales or Branch Manager.
Minimum Education and/or Experience
Must have two years of sales experience, preferably in the compact equipment industry.
Knowledge and Skills
- Perform certain computer skills and operate standard office equipment accurately and quickly.
- Able to work with minimal supervision with a wide range of personalities in a courteous, effective and professional manner.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers
- Competent skills regarding the operation of compact industrial equipment
