What is RentMonster?

RentMonster is Birmingham's apartment locator service. We work with apartment owners all over the city to help them lease their vacant units. We lease a variety of different rentals, from duplex apartments to 500-unit luxury complexes.

The Traditional Route to Becoming a Real Estate Agent

The traditional route to becoming a real estate agent is long and expensive. You'll need to complete a 60-hour real estate course, pass a proctored course exam, and then pass the state exam. Once you're licensed, you'll need to pay monthly broker's fees and complete a 30-hour post-license course.

The RentMonster Route to a Career in Real Estate

Our route is much simpler. First, you'll get hired by RentMonster. Then, you'll learn how to lease apartments. As you do this, you'll build a client base of people who are likely to want to buy a house in the future. You'll also learn sales techniques, how to be your own boss, and how to create relationships in the industry.

After a year with RentMonster, we'll even pay for your real estate course.
