Administrative Assistant for Catering & Events Manager

Location: Buffalo, NY
Hours: Full Time or two part-time positions

Summary
Assists Catering & Events manager in all aspects of the daily operations of the
Banquet/Catering/Sales office. Providing service for private parties, club functions and other special events. Upholds the standards and traditions of the Saturn Club in all job endeavors.
Assists and supports other Food & Beverage management.

Description

• Assists in planning all food, beverage, decoration, timing and service details for private parties, holiday events and special events in coordination with membership and management.
• Assists, and supports Catering & Event Manager in daily member inquires for events.
• Assists with confirmation and menu packages for proposed and confirmed parties.
• Assists with preparation of detailed Banquet event Orders for Club/Member functions.
• Responsible implementing proper set up, execution, and breakdown of all parties and events on an as needed basis.

Work requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be punctual.
• Must have flexible schedule and availability; some weekends and/or holiday availability may be necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training/ or equivalent combination of education and experience.
