The Sales Assistant manages communications between Sales Consultants and clients while providing assistance directly to customers. He or she prepares e-mails, answers calls, receives messages, sets appointments, promotes a tone of professionalism for the organization, and aids in managing social media profiles. The Sales Assistant is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the product line, inventory, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers as they help them locate products, place orders, place holds, and process transactions.

The ideal candidate for this position has a High School Diploma or GED and/or previous customer service experience. He or she must have strong administrative and organizational skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, and excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel and Word.

Experience

• 1 year(s): Customer Service or Administrative experience is a plus.
