At Gemini Builds It! we design, manufacture and distribute custom frames, display cases, acrylic cases, and other products for an array of industries. We currently serve satisfied clients in the museum, memorabilia, hospitality, and healthcare industries, as well as corporate and high-end residential environments. If our clients can envision it, we can build it!
We are currently seeking a National Account Manager to be the primary day-to-day contact on assigned key accounts. In this role you will be the liaison between sales, internal departments, outside suppliers and key customers, developing custom orders from start to finish. You’ll also develop additional business by informing customers of additional services; and add business from your own list of contacts/accounts.
Position Summary
Primary day to day customer contact for assigned key accounts and accounts developed from your own list of contacts/accounts. Create custom programs designed around customer requirements. Inform customers of additional services with the goal of increasing business. Liaison between sales, internal departments, outside suppliers and customers.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with assigned and new accounts through phone, email contact and in person.
- Through relationship building and superior client services, develop further important clients.
- Manage orders from concept/design through hand-off to production:
- Work with customer to fully understand needs and wants
- Prepare and enter quotes for orders using company forms and computer systems, ensuring quotes are competitive but within profit guidelines and gross profit targets.
- Assist in finding vendors for projects that are outside of Gemini current production capabilities.
- Follow-up to ensure meeting customer timelines are met.
- Ensure critical details are communicated to all constituents – sales, customer, production and outside suppliers.
- Preparing Quarterly Business Review for assigned clients each quarter or as needed.
- Respond to inquiries, needs, and complaints from assigned accounts in an enthusiastic and timely manner.
- Create opportunities to sell Gemini products, features and benefits that correspond to each individual customer.
- Assist Internal Client Service Team with answering phones on occasion.
- Track and communicate leads; provide customer data for tracking purposes.
- Provide ideas, recommendations, and support regarding new business development.
- Stay up to date on sales skills, professional knowledge and self-training to maximize professional growth and advancement.
- Stay up to date on company capabilities, products and services.
- Manage Install Calendar for Clients and work to broaden our leads for this.
- Manage annual sales budget and track results. Participate in company planning process for sales budget.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of experience in a custom design environment.
- Experience in a custom manufacturing environment a plus.
- Highly relational, a good listener, and strong communicator.
- Persistent, but able to form solid, trusting relationships with customers and internal departments. Clear desire to help assigned customers meet their needs and objectives.
- Highly motivated. Competitive, confident, and optimistic. Sees excellence as a standard.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office® software such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Proficient in Full Calc, Lifesaver, and FACTS software a strong plus.
