Gateway Logistics, Inc. is looking for an experienced logistics professional to join our growing organization as our Trainer. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in 3PL industry both the customer and carrier sides of the business. The position will require a self-starter that brings confidence to the floor and knowledge to the training environment. The Day-to-Day:

• Take our New Hire Carrier & Customer Sales Reps through our 12-Week Training program
• Facilitate classroom sessions ranging from Introduction to the Transportation Industry to using our Carrier Sourcing & Transportation Management software
• Review & gage employee performance and learning
• Assist with Ongoing Training of current employees
• Gain feedback from reps and management about any gaps in training and make necessary updates/changes to improve Training program
• Recommend training strategies, initiatives, and materials
• Maintain/update a database of all training materials

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of industry experience as a broker is required (including customer and carrier experience)
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management and employees
• Organized and able to create multiple timelines and schedules
• Self-starter who possesses strong time management skills
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
