Salary: $45,000 base + Commission + Performance Bonus + Benefits

Sales Specialist Description

Our client in the painting industry is looking for a Sales Specialist to add to their team in Newton, MA. Reporting to the Owner, you will be responsible for your book of clients and fully meeting their needs. Our client is looking for someone who is energetic, likes to engage with people, and is capable of understanding the true needs of the customer. The ideal candidate has a sales OR customer service background and is able to learn and follow new processes easily. This is a great opportunity to join a small team and make a difference in your community.

Sales Specialist Responsibilities

• Travel to client job sites
• Quote painting jobs, including measuring, surface prep, amount needed, and labor
• Assist office staff in scheduling paint teams
• Assist account managers in closing sales calls
• Meet and exceed sales goals
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge
• Advise customers on-site or during calls
• Upsell clients wherever necessary for a complete job
• Multi-task clients to ensure all are fully satisfied with service
• Meet with manager on regular basis

Sales Specialist Qualifications

• 2+ years of Sales OR Customer Service experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office required
• Ability to travel locally required (company car and gas provided)
