Position Summary:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible selling all Industrial product offerings including tooling, tooling accessories, fasteners, safety, MRO, and abrasive items. This position will make sales calls, present new merchandise, promotions, and special product offerings. This position will report to the specific geographic Customer Service Manager for their territory.

How you will make an impact:

• Expanding existing sales base through consistent performance, building rapport with existing customers; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing proposals and become a reliable resource for your customer base.
• Providing timely and relevant information on customers feedback, competitors changes and market conditions to appropriate internal teams to capitalize on shifts in the marketplace to enhance the Company’s competitive advantage.
• Researching customer back-ordered merchandise, scheduling expedites shipments and processing merchandise orders/ cancels as directed.
• Executing sales processes utilizing CRM to identify and t
• Process requests for copies of invoices, credit memos, catalog pages, supplies, price lists, bills of lading, etc. for assigned customers and Industrial Sales Representatives.
• Handling customer inquiries regarding delivery and notifying customers of delays in shipment, changes in delivery schedules, and/or abnormal shipment sizes.
• Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers.
• Effectively educating customers on the financial benefits of new and existing product lines.
• Assisting customers in planning for future growth and sales development.

Successful Past Achievements Include:

• Proven success in Customer Service/ call center environment.
• A minimum of 1 year Customer Service/ Inside Sales experience, Industrial sales preferred.

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Possess good communication skill in written, verbal and presentation formats.
• Ability to establish good organizational and multitasking skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Personal characteristics include: enthusiastic, aggressive, self-starter with a passion to lead others.
