Full description of the position

Responsibilities:

• Acting as a liaison between existing customers, potential prospects and company
• Working with customers and outside sales representatives, visiting customers as needed
• Reviewing incoming purchase orders to make sure in compliance with the quotes
• Resolving any customer discrepancies that may come up between the company quote or purchase order
• Working with the sales manager with any negotiations or programs
• Making sure customer agreement and contracts are in compliance and resolving issues as they arise
• Assist the sales manager in developing new business
• Giving the proper paperwork to different departments such as contract sheets, estimate sheets, quotes
• Receiving and logging in information into company dataset
• Making sure the purchase orders are correct and entered in a timely manner
• Filing paperwork such as sales orders, estimates, customer correspondence
• Managing the quotation process and developing key metrics such as number of requestions received per week, ratio for winning or losing and other requirements
• Maintain and regular update database and sales tracking system
• Providing sales performance reports, actual dollars to forecast per month, actual book dollars to goal per month, loss of potential business, sales trends
• Assisting with customer surveys, direct mailings, promotional items
• Assisting sales manager with expectations and performance metrics, annual sales forecast

Qualifications:

• At least five years previous sales experience is required
• Understanding of the product development cycle
• Manufacturing process knowledge
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Good computer skills

Hours are:

Monday through Friday – First Shift

The pay is up to $85K based on experience
