Position Summary:
The AWS Sr. Account Manager, Public Sector Sales will possess both a sales and technical background that allows them to strategically engage clients at all levels to include the CXO level. Responsible for serving the needs of medium to large enterprise customers throughout the MD and VA region. Duties & Responsibilities:
· Drive digital transformation through meaningful engagement with C-level executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and various lines of businesses of your customers.
· In this role, you will represent the entire portfolio of AWS products and services across the strategic accounts you manage within the customer market segment.
· Build relationships and quickly develop trust with clients, as well as internal employees.
· Drive revenue and increase market share in a defined set of accounts.
· Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
· Develop and execute a plan to grow the AWS footprint within your set of accounts.
· Manage numerous accounts concurrently & strategically.
· Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
· Accelerate customer adoption through well-developed sales engagements and successful go-to-market strategy to achieve customer outcomes.
· Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
· Work with vendor partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
· Ensure customer satisfaction.
· Deliver engaging, articulate sales presentations in person and over the phone.
· Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technology management issues, including the services and solutions Daly provides.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
· Experience and understanding of the AWS Channel Sales model (Direct and Indirect) is a must.
· Experience selling technology equipment.
· Experience in the state, local governments and education (SLED) space.
· Must have technical acumen to understand requirements and objections.
· The ability to effectively present information and response to questions from customers, vendors and employees is a must.
· Strong communication (verbal and written), organization, and time management skills are also required.
· Self-driven, motivated and results-oriented, able to work independently, as well as contribute to a team.
· Ability to multi-task and to quickly change pace on a moment’s notice.
· High level of accountability; willing to take ownership and solve problems.
· Must be able to adhere to tight service level agreements (SLAs) and be able to multi-task effectively.
Qualifications:
· Seven plus (7+) years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting experience.
· BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.
· AWS Certification.
· Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across various SLED areas.
· Cross functional selling experience (Architect, Sales Engineer, Professional Services, Partner, and ISV).
