What you will do:

In this role, you will identify, support, and manage continuous improvement projects company wide, be responsible for providing expertise in the areas of lean manufacturing, Six-Sigma problem solving, lean business processes, and born lean product development, provide education and mentorship companywide to ensure efficient processes are in place, and work with general direction and have latitude in determining how to solve problems.

Primary responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for reducing costs and improving productivity.
• Facilitate the analysis of workspace flow and design and improve operational layouts according to lean concepts.
• Manage and/or execute the implementation of improvement projects.
• Develop standard work and line balancing to increase productivity.
• Optimize processes to reach product quality, efficiency, and process repeatability goals.
• Provide leadership in Six Sigma to understand, define and control critical processes.
• Apply advanced lean and Six-Sigma principles to solve technical and non-technical problems.
• Develop and sustain employees training and development on lean concepts.
• Develop and sustain engineering training and development on Six-Sigma tools.
• Organize and measure the progress of improvement initiatives and ensure plant wide consistency.
• Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
• Comply with applicable FDA and international regulatory laws and standards.
• Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
• Continually increase knowledge of lean and six-sigma via literature, courses, and seminar

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum 3-years applicable manufacturing industry experience (Medical device preferred)
• Lean Black Belt certification
• Six-Sigma Green Belt certification, or equivalent (Six-Sigma Black Belt preferred)
• Statistical analysis of various types of data
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Starting annual salary range: $78,000 - $115,000 DOE
