Business Development Manager - Audio Visual
Itasca, Illinois, United States
Are you a Business Development Manager looking for a new opportunity? We currently have a client that will be responsible for actively pursuing audio-visual integration business opportunities within corporate and/or residential environments. The Business Development Manager will act as the team leader for delivery of proposals for customer and RFP opportunities, and functions as the lead customer relationship manager for new and assigned accounts, creating & write proposals for clients using DTools Software.
Must have Audio Visual Experience
Responsibilities:
- Possess a good understanding of audiovisual & collaboration technologies
- Ability to understand, synthesize and create AV system designs
- Strong understanding of IT and networking technologies
- Experience with Crestron, QSC, Savant, Lutron, Harman, Christie, Digital Projection, Middle Atlantic +
- Possess excellent business negotiation skills
The individual must be a team player and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team. They must represent the company professionally and ethically and demonstrate good judgment and common sense in handling customer issues.
- The individual must be able to work independently with a minimum of supervision and exercise strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree preferred; equivalent work experience accepted
- 5+ years of outside sales experience in the Audio-Visual / IT integration field
- Proven track record selling Audio-Visual integration, communication collaboration
- Solid experience recommending and developing AV / IT solutions; demonstrating strong technical audio-visual acumen
- Proven ability to identify and develop new sales opportunities
- Elevated level of professionalism (excellent oral & written communications skills)

Pay: $84,341.27 - $101,572.27 per year
