Graycorp is a full service logistics provider looking for dynamic and motivated professionals to be a part of our aggressive growth plan.

If you flourish in a fast paced environment, have experience in the logistics industry, and a customer focused mindset then you may be a candidate for one of our Logistics Account Manager positions.

We expect our Account Managers to:

  • Build strong relationships with customers through consistent communication and by meeting their day to day and long-term needs.
  • Manage customer expectations and provide 100% white glove service 100% of the time.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints from clients.
  • Identify opportunities to increase current sales and cross-sell additional services to existing customers.
  • Participate in rate calculations, report preparation and customer presentations for all large-spend bids
  • Ensure customer commitments are met, working with internal teams and executing operational tasks as needed
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop account expansion strategies and implement them effectively.
  • Analyze customer data, industry trends, and market insights to identify growth opportunities and create tailored solutions for clients.
  • Proactively manage contract renewals and ensure high customer retention rates.
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to evaluate their satisfaction, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster effective cross-departmental collaboration with internal teams such as sales and logistics coordinators to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Communicate customer requirements, feedback, and opportunities for improvement internally.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in order to use this knowledge to provide recommendations that improve our product offerings and enhance the customer experience.
  • Ability to work in conjunction with Carrier Relations to ensure customers transportation needs are met.

Qualifications

  • Must be awesome
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in logistics sales and/or customer service is a must
  • Knowledge of commercial equipment types and limitations required
  • Familiarity of FMCSA regulations and hours of service a plus
  • High energy, team player
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Always hungry for more
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to to multi task
  • Sense of urgency to complete tasks and make on the fly decisions
  • Ability to motivate and influence those around you in order to achieve mutually beneficial results
  • Ability to work on a team while driving self performance
