Full description of the position

We are a family owned and operated business, with 8 regional and 2 international offices, committed to providing our partners with the tools they need to better the environment.

We are looking for a Sales Support Representative to support the sales department directly with supporting customers and the sales team.

In this role, you will:

This role helps develop and implement a strategic plan for online bidding platforms to obtain business through this channel.

Research and communicate industry trends with team.

Actively participate in building positive, forward-thinking culture in the Sales department and throughout the organization.

Implementation/strategic planning ability

Monitor Geotech Sales & Sales Support inboxes taking action as needed. Inquiries from clients or prospects should be routed to the correct National Account Manager

Monitor online bid opportunities and maintain login info

Using a consultative approach, assist customers and potential customers with products and service solutions when providing coverage for teammates.

  • Work closely with the sales team to develop plans to strategically grow revenue through online bid platforms and other targeted efforts.
  • Identify opportunities to learn about more specialized products and applications to help assist sales team with more unique requests.
  • Provide equipment training and demonstrations, both in person and over webcam, to customers and team members.

Enter quotes and orders and follow up with customers on quotes and orders

What you bring to this role:

Sales – A background in working with customers in B2B, retail or call center sales. You love talking to with customers and building long-term relationships through understanding, their project needs. You are fearless when it comes to picking up the phone and reaching out to both new and existing customers.

Independent – Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and work autonomously

Organization – Ability to navigate thousands of contacts within the CRM. .

Team Player – We operate as a tight knit sales unit. The ability to jump in and assist colleagues/regions when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1 year sales experience (B2B, Retail, Call Center, ETC)
  • Experience working with CRM or database software
  • Motivated self-starters with a desire to grow with the Company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
