Sailun Tire Americas – Commercial Sales Representative – TBR
Position Reporting To – Director, Sales – TBR
Summary/Objective
Reporting to the Director of Sales – TBR, the Commercial Sales Representative - TBR is responsible for the growth, development and retention of customers of Sailun branded sales within the US marketplace for TBR Segment. Assigned to select named customers, the Commercial Sales Representative - TBR is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives. The Commercial Sales Representative - TBR represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.
Essential Functions
· Achieve targeted company sales margins and sales quantities through approved sales and market approach strategies.
· Identify and contact potential customers through various means such as cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events
· Promote company’s brand, technology and business solutions to create differentiation over competitors in the market.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
· Create ongoing monthly sales and market reports for management on activities, successes, challenges and market forces faced in your territory.
· Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers
· Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
· Negotiate and close deals with customers
· Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction
· Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments
· Attend and participate in industry related trade shows in and out of your sales territories, as directed by management.
· Participates in industry events such as Trade Shows, Dealer Events and Industry association events as a representative of the Sailun brand
· Other duties as required
Travel
· Up to 50% of travel within U.S.A. and Canada. Must possess a valid passport
· Attend TBR Shows and other Corporate trade events as needed. Attend sales meeting/customer appreciation events.
Skills and Qualifications
Customer Client Focus, Goal Achievement Oriented, Strategic Thinking, Communication Proficiency, Negotiation, Sales Planning, Internal and External Relationship Management, Managing Processes, Strong organizational and time-management skills, Market Knowledge, ability to mentor and train, Computer proficiency required in Microsoft. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Education and Experience
5+ years of related experience in tire or tire related industry with progressive growth experience.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce, Marketing or Sales, or equivalent number of years of experience.
Prior experience in commercial tire service/repair work with customer interaction an asset
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business
Familiarity with CRM software and sales processes
Ability to travel extensively, valid driver's license and reliable transportation
