SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

The Treasury Management Account Analysis Specialist performs a variety of critical and time sensitive tasks related to the review and maintenance of account analysis processes, including receiving, reviewing and posting monthly files. The Account Analysis Specialist performs a thorough review of account analysis maintenance requests to ensure information is accurately reflected in the core and Weiland systems. Must comply with policies and procedures related to pricing and rate exceptions to ensure fee income is maintained. Supports additional department functions such as Audit Confirmations, IOLTA reporting and remittance; and responding to external/internal service inquiries. Manages the incoming workload to ensure all requests and monthly processes are completed within SLAs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop and maintain extensive technical knowledge of Weiland Account Analysis system, Treasury Management and Bank products, services and pricing, and operating systems.
• Receive, review, post and balance all monthly Analysis files, ensuring any upload anomalies/errors are mitigated/resolved. Submit billing block file, and run statements.
• Answer complex inquires for all types of Account Analysis requests in support of account managers, branches, and Middle Market/Commercial Bankers.
• Maintain ownership of problem resolution on any Analysis related questions, including identifying the issue, resolving and follow up with client to ensure satisfaction. Provide backup documentation and statement/report copies as requested.
• Work as a liaison between several areas of the bank, including Marketing, Operations, IT, Compliance, Legal, Audit, and Risk, identifying the risks associated with product lines and contributing to process development and management to minimize risk. Provide subject matter expertise to internal bank staff as needed.
• Work with vendor as required for complex system issues that require their expertise.
• Perform review of the account analysis system and develop/implement recommendations for client setup and processing to streamline processing and reduce errors.
• Perform fee and waiver analysis and make recommendations. Implement annual reviews of fee exceptions, waivers, and ECR exceptions.
• Understand the technical side of account analysis, while considering its applications in the real world. Is involved in product testing and collecting feedback from early users and testers.
• Assist in development of pricing disciplines for commercial clients including pricing strategy, annual pricing reviews and review of governance. Develop rules for non-analyzed fees, waivers, and reversals.
• Execute on the pricing strategy that reflects the bank and product offering. Working with internal and vendor systems, develop automated billing methods that support the pricing strategy.
• Coordinate with compliance, legal, and marketing to ensure information is properly communicated.
• Ensure that Analysis documentation, internal processes and procedures are compliant with regulatory guidelines.
• Assist with special projects as required.
• Participates in data mapping, testing and other conversion projects related to Bank mergers.
• Accepts other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements

• Education : Associates degree or higher preferred
• Experience : 1-2 years Treasury Management experience; 3-5 years previous banking experience preferred (Commercial Call Center, Client Service, Operations). Experience with and advanced technical knowledge of account analysis, Weiland Analysis System, TM products/services and online banking systems preferred.
• Certifications/Specific Knowledge : MS office expertise (MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Project), Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; Proven understanding of the technical aspects of Treasury Management products i.e. file formats, file transmissions. Excellent written/oral communications skills; Proven success in problem analysis and resolution; Strong attention to detail and accuracy; Strong organization skills; Ability to manage multiple detailed work assignments with a high degree of accuracy.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is located in a private office. The position is located inside an cooled and heated facility with ability to go to a break room or rest room during breaks.

Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered.
