Job description

Role: Business Development Representative

Department: Sales

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Business Development Representative will work with the Sales Department and is responsible for managing a pipeline of existing non-fleet client accounts and policy renewals. This position is a rewarding and exciting long-term opportunity to work with a fast-paced sales organization and to grow a career within transportation insurance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Correspond with existing insurance customers and manage the sales renewal pipeline.
  • Maintain records of current customers
  • Follow Reliance Procedures for Business Development process regarding insurance coverage for clients.
  • Use Reliance sales tools and CRM to manage renewal lifecycle.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Bilingual or Multilingual (Russian or Spanish Speaking)
  • Ability to obtain P&C license before starting.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills
  • Strong “people skills” and a positive, can-do attitude is a must.
  • Ability to interact with employees and customers in a professional manner.
  • Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be organized and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
  • Strong computer skills with various software including Microsoft Office, E-Mail, and Internet
  • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with others.
