Description:LiquiTech Job Title: Senior Sales Executive
Department: Field Sales
Reports to: Vice President of Sales
HQ Location: Lombard, IL - Remote Position Option
Position Description: LiquiTech’s Senior Sales Executive is responsible for generating net new prospect and client business through effective prospecting, networking and consultative activities. The position requires the experience to design and implement strategies that align with current selling strategies to increase net new business. This role relies heavily on the ability to communicate over the phone and in person to various levels within healthcare (C-Level, Directors, Infection Prevention, Quality, Facilities) as well as hospitality and commercial opportunities.

Major Accountabilities
Business Development

  • Consistently achieve monthly target standards as documented in HubSpot to include new leads, new initial meetings (face to face or virtual), on-site walk throughs, and quarterly revenue goals.
  • Utilize HubSpot as the platform to manage business. Daily document calls, emails, and general progress notes to maintain a strong CRM database for reporting and leadership review of activity, pipeline and current quarter deals.
  • Achieve a level of subject matter expertise (specifically facility plumbing systems, basic waterborne bacterial microbiology, ASSE 12080 certification, competitive alternatives, marketplace history, client success and geographic nuance) to be seen as a consultative partner to create and win business.
  • Collaborate regularly with Account Management counterpart to optimize existing LiquiTech client business opportunities and leverage referenceable contacts and case studies.
  • Identify, develop and manage 3rd party partners to help identify opportunity in respective territory.
  • Navigate and welcome constant change to messaging and strategy; taking the lead in the respective territory
  • Establish various levels of relationships (multi-champion) to win deals and generate new business.
  • Leverage existing LiquiTech diagnostic tools and internal SME resources to differentiate LiquiTech in competitive scenarios.
  • Analyze discrete issues and anticipate process roadblocks to close business.
  • Identify missing information and coach clients on decision making process.
  • Interpret client data (i.e. Site Analysis, Engineering Discovery Data and Water Sampling Reports)
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals demonstrating strong people management and communication skills
  • Demonstrate innovation, adaptability, and flexibility

Interoffice

  • Foster and maintain a collaborative environment within the organization to identify and manage risks and opportunities (i.e. Senior Management, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Success)
  • A familiarity with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms and other digital devices.
  • Utilize senior staff for training, guidance and strategy
  • Acts as main POC from sale of system to start up managing all logistics with customer and ensuring all internal documentation is completed

Requirements:Education, Experience, License, Certifications & Qualifications
What is the minimum level of formal education required?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent degree and experience

What other training, licenses and/or certifications are necessary?

  • None

What type and length of previous experience are needed?

  • 2+ years lead generation experience
  • 7+ years strategic sales experience

What skills and abilities are needed?

  • Proven ability to close business preferably in a healthcare related field
  • Experience interfacing with customers
  • Strong people management and communication skills
  • Troubleshooting/Problem solving skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently
  • Negotiation and complex selling skills

What other requirements are needed (i.e. travel, shifts, physical demands, etc.)

  • Ability to travel up to 70% in assigned territory and other domestic business locations
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
