Chicago Winery--Private Dining Room Sales Manager

Guests will be able to tour the winery, explore Chicago Winery’s full portfolio of wines, or enjoy seasonal Modern American fare at the onsite restaurant. Position Summary
Chicago Winery is seeking a Private Dining Sales Manager to be an integral part of our vibrant sales team This role will report to the National Director of Social Sales for the company. The candidate should be a bright and talented individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for organization, a positive attitude, and an interest in learning the inner workings of event sales for First Batch Hospitality. This is a full-time position with 2 years of experience preferred and knowledge of/interest in the hospitality and service industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage social and small corporate event sales for Chicago Winery’s Private Dining Room.
- Take clients through the full sales process from identification, qualification, and proposal development to post-booking, including but not limited to:
--Responding to inquiries and booking appointments as needed
--Building client relationships
--Facilitating client tours as requested
--Contract negotiations, closing & booking
--Creation of BEOs and Floor plans for each event.
--Manage expectations for event clients and clearly communicate client needs
to the restaurant management team/event team
- Ensure timeliness of billing/payment remittance in conjunction with our Finance Administrator.
- Organization of BEO's and general event information within our CRM system.
- Attendance and participation at weekly Events Meetings and Private Dining Room BEO meetings to provide input/direction to the Events/Restaurant team on event logistics and client information.
- Work together with the National Director of Social Sales to ensure the monthly sales targets will be met.
Job Requirements
- Must be located in Chicago, IL
- Undergraduate Degree; Hospitality focus preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Event Sales or Front of House Restaurant Management. Event Management experience a plus
- Flexible schedule (night/weekend hours required)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Desire to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Highly self-motivated with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Google Drive and knowledge of Tripleseat and InDesign are a plus
Compensation/Benefits
$50,000k annually plus 1% Commission
