At Anytime Fitness we are passionate about our members and the personable experience we create along their fitness journey! Our Club Associate will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to all Anytime Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Through this position, you will not only receive a FREE gym membership, help members through their life-changing fitness journey, but also a chance to choose your own level of income with your commission bonuses. At this location we have an excellent marketing team that generates us a generous amount of well qualified personal training leads that can excel your income based on your selling abilities and passion for fitness!

Important: If you are uncomfortable doing sales or calling complete strangers on the phone and asking them to stop in to see our club, this is not the position or industry for you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all office/club related activities including:
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
• New member sign-up sales.
• Take prospective members on tours.
• Facilitate needed updates to member’s accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to upper management as needed.

Club Cleanliness and Maintenance

• Regular facility cleaning and upkeep such as mopping under equipment, trash removal, cleaning windows and mirrors, restrooms, gym floor organization and re-racking weights.
• Regular cleaning of all exercise equipment.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
• Strong work ethic that includes punctuality, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
• Outwardly facing professional appearance
• Confidence and desire to create new relationships quickly
• Ability to quickly acquire and apply new knowledge and skills
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A passion and understanding for fitness and health is a plus.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands
