Full description of the position

Job Description:
At Kisco Senior Living, the Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing assists in achieving revenue targets and providing sales and marketing support for a minimum of six (6) East Coast communities. Primary responsibility is to provide sales and marketing leadership and support for on-site staff, as well as implement strategies that drive revenue for target communities and broader sales organization. The measurable objective is to increase revenue at each property that the RVP oversees. Additional responsibilities include: being a team lead on Kisco Marketing with oversight of several Marketing Managers and supporting the pricing and revenue management functions.

What will I do every day?


  • You will serve as part of the sales leadership team that designs and implements sales program training for all on-site sales/marketing associates, executive directors, front-desk associates as well as others
  • Act as team lead in marketing including managing several marketing managers
  • Support pricing and revenue management
  • Work with counterparts to develop and oversee the implementation of sales policies and procedures
  • Conduct sales and marketing monthly and quarterly reviews
  • Work with on-site teams to promote the development of sales strategies that generate qualified inquiries
  • Participate in the development and coordination of home office sales meetings and retreats
  • Participate in the identification and selection of sales associates for communities
  • Coordinate and provide onboarding activities for new sales associates
  • Mentor and coach onsite teams on effective sales efforts including use of technology for virtual presentations, in-person tours, and phone follow-up calls/emails to prospects
  • Assist on-site sales teams in creating and implementing successful outreach programs including modeling effective networking and presentation skills in the community
  • Coach on-site teams for designated communities in the development of on-site sales/marketing plans and reviews on quarterly calls
  • Provide input into annual evaluations of on-site sales associates in assigned communities
  • Responsible for supporting the on-site Executive Director regarding the performance management of the community and/or Sales Directors through Revenue Collaboration Plans and Performance Improvement Plans
  • Conducts Compass Rose Certification and coach sales staff to improve sales ratios
  • Keeps up-to-date on market conditions and competitor analysis
  • Complete sales/marketing reports

  • Must live on the East Coast, North Carolina preferred
  • Must enjoy training and mentoring sales staff
  • Experience in managing others or leading teams
  • Must have knowledge of systems such as CRM, training, sales and management databases, computerized lead tracking, and pricing tools
  • Should be imaginative and creative in developing sales teams and must be able to develop community sales associates as well as Executive Directors in sales leadership
  • Must have the ability to teach and influence sales associates and the ability to motivate others to drive for results
  • Must be able to travel approximately ten (10) days per month
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with multiple priorities
  • Experience in marketing, including website management/optimization and search engine marketing
  • Strong grasp of analytics and diagnostic reporting
  • A Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree is a plus)
  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years’ management experience in health care, senior living or related field. Senior living sales experience is strongly preferred.
