Charleston area Pool Company looking for a bright, driven self-starter to join our Sales Team in designing and constructing swimming pools. This fast-paced, big-ticket sales opportunity requires strong attention to detail to turn clients’ dreams into reality through a complete outdoor space transformation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site and/or virtual design consultations with clients to review client goals and wants/needs for each individual project
• Utilize pool design software to produce plans for the clients’ review/approval as well as construction documents for our in-house construction team
• Prepare necessary building permit documentation for local municipalities to meet all swimming pool code and required construction details
• Create proposals and present them to clients for their review; follow-up appointments or phone calls required to help clients understand scope of work and set expectations
• Conduct in-person client meeting at the Meadows Pool and Spa showroom to guide clients through the selections process for helping each client personalize their pool
• Order materials for projects based on client selections and quickly return price changes based on selections if above allowances set in the proposal
• Continually update clients on project status as the project progresses to keep client relations positive and expectations exceeded

Requirements

• College degree (preferred) or some college with commensurate experience
• 2+ years of high-pressure sales experience
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload between new and existing projects
• Experience with project design drawing and collaboration software (preferred)
• General understanding of residential pool construction processes
• Design-minded professional, comfortable with developing/editing project drawings
• Able to expedite post-sale workflow process and documentation
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to take direction from company President and other management while also being self sufficient
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Independent judgement

Benefits

• $50,000/year based on experience for first 3-6 months during onboarding period
• $30,000/year base salary + commission following onboarding period
