Full description of the position

Our Customer Service Representatives work in partnership with our outside sales, purchasing team, and suppliers to grow our business with existing customers, and to develop and gain new customers . Customer Services Representatives are challenged to continuously work to provide our customers with a peace-of-mind and solutions that meet/exceed their needs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and process customer orders
• Order and source products
• Proactively generate sales and promote SFP.
• Expedite backorders
• Assist with pulling inventory and preparing shipments
• Assist with customer returns
• Interact with customers and suppliers to obtain and fill orders correctly
• Troubleshoot customer concerns
• Qualifications

• Mechanical and mathematical aptitude preferred.
• Knowledge of the distribution industry (Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Fluid Power) preferred
• Possess a strong electronic / mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to problem solve and manage multiple priorities
• Reliable, organized, detailed, and focused
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and pc proficient
• Knowledge of supply chain systems helpful
