Full description of the position

VP of Commercial Sales
Job Title: VP of Commercial Sales
Location: Remote + 25% Travel
Salary: $150K-$180K + Bonus + Equity
Benefits: Health Insurance + 401k + Paid Time Off
Requirements: B2B Sales Leadership, Selling Services (ideally Disaster Restoration)

We are one of the largest disaster restoration companies in the country, and we are in search of a VP of Commercial Sales to professionalize the sales function and deliver sales growth.

The compensation for this role includes a highly competitive base salary of up to $180K, a 50% of salary bonus at target with the opportunity to get to 100% of salary, and equity in the company will also be part of the package.

This position can be fully remote with periodic travel to our East Coast Operations HQ in Greater Boston, our West Coast Operations HQ in the Bay area and to customer sites nationwide.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be a key member of the executive leadership team and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the business by:
  • driving the company's B2B customer acquisition and revenue goals
  • overseeing the hiring and development of the sales organization
  • establishing compensation, training and sales incentive programs
  • driving the development of national sales strategies
  • maintaining client relationships and implementing strategies for expanding our customer base
  • managing the overall sales process and setting appropriate metrics

What You Need for this Position

  • A proven track record of success in progressively larger commercial sales roles at service-focused companies
- Experience selling into mid- to large-sized (Fortune 1000) companies
  • Experience selling to property management firms and/or municipalities is preferred
  • Direct experience in the disaster restoration industry is ideal
  • Substantial sales leadership experience
  • Ability to fix current processes and create new processes where needed
  • Ability to continuously improve upon sales strategy
  • Ability to develop your people while ensuring a collaborative work environment
