Barbizon Lighting, located in Charlotte, NC, is looking for a full-time, proactive sales support professional for the Products and Expendables group in our Woburn office. The Products and Expendables group provides equipment, expendables, and accessories to feature films, professional theatres, broadcast facilities, schools, universities, themed environments, and a wide variety of venues.
Responsibilities Include:
- Facilitate processing quotes and orders for Sales Associates’ accounts
- Process Purchase Orders and communicate effectively with vendors
- A deep understanding of and commitment to customer service
- Facilitate internal/external communication
- Assist customers in our showroom and on the phone
- Quote entry and order processing
- Assist in order fulfillment, customer expectation management
- Work diligently to ensure timely invoicing
- Assist in arranging product demonstrations, trade shows, etc
- Maintain a clean, inviting, and professional showroom
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills Include:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellence in time management and managing multiple priorities
- General computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- A background in film, theatre, or broadcast industries is a plus
- Sales experience of 3-5 years is a plus
The salary range for a Sales Assistant at Barbizon Lighting’s Charlotte, NC location is currently $35K to $50K per annum, depending upon experience. Please be aware extensive industry experience or specific skills that fully match or exceed what is required may, in fact, also increase this range to compensate for that expanded expertise.
