Blue Bell Creameries is seeking a ROUTE SALES REPRESENTATIVE Trainee for our Chattanooga, TN location.

A route sales representative’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Making route deliveries to grocery stores, convenience stores, drug stores, food service accounts and other customers;
• Loading trucks and maintaining inventory;
• Coordinating, stocking and proper merchandising of ice cream products in accounts.

A CDL license is preferred but not required. If you do not have a CDL, you will be provided on the job training to obtain a Class B license with air brake endorsement. The Class B license must be obtained within 30 days after hire.

This position includes a base salary with a commission component. The typical hours are approximately early morning to afternoon, five days a week with Wednesdays and Sundays off.

The ideal candidate is dependable, has good communication skills, has basic math skills and is willing to work with frozen products.

Requirements

A candidate must possess the following job requirements:

• Safe driving record with no more than two preventable collisions or moving violations in the past three years
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
