The Outside Sales Representative will serve as the primary sales and account management representative to existing and new accounts within the assigned territory. In this role, you will be responsible for increasing sales and distribution within the territory by growing and maintaining the customer base and relationships.
- What are the key role responsibilities?
- Increase sales and distribution with existing and new accounts.
- Must successfully introduce new products and work with current and prospective customers to meet desired sales and service needs.
- Must efficiently process product orders and maintain frequent contact with accounts.
- Identify and establish contact with potential customers
- Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
- Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
- Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
- Generate and submit sales reports to management
- Travel by automobile to meet with customers throughout the sales territory.
What would make you a good fit at North American Plastics?
- BA/BS degree or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum 1+ years field experience in sales or territory management.
- Minimum of 6 months industrial industry related experience
- Accountable on achieve sales revenue, volume, and distribution objectives in assigned territory.
- Knowledgeable of products and prices and demonstrates use of products.
- Team player attitude and energetic with a focus on excellent customer service
- Excellent organizational and communication skills leading with strong interpersonal skills and genuine interest in helping people.
- Ability and willingness to travel for trade shows, demonstrations and client meetings
- Proficiency with SalesForce.com or other similar CRM

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
