Sunland Specialty Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency seeking a Producer. We are seeking someone with a strong background in commercial lines sales. This is a great opportunity for a producer to grow with the agency a be a part of a true team.

This agency is fairly new but has an established book of business upon which to build. This role is more than meeting sales targets. It's about building trust and having your client's best interest in mind. In this role, you'll help identify and pursue business opportunities and cultivate new relationships. With a hands-on approach across the sales lifecycle, you'll help clients develop a tailored insurance program that best meets their needs.

Salary Range: $60000.00 - $70000.00 per year

• Drive revenue and growth for the agency; identify and pursue business opportunities by building strong relationships
• Conduct a needs analysis with each client to identify any coverage gaps and/or recommend additional lines of coverage
• Prepare thorough marketing submissions; including risk narratives, loss ratio analysis, coverage analysis to submit to companies for quoting; or rate online as necessary
• Negotiate with underwriters to develop the best insurance program for the client
• Prepare proposals clearly and effectively to new clients and, when needed, upon renewal

• Active Property & Casualty Agent/Producer License required
• 2 years Independent Agency Experience in a sales role
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
• Excellent written and verbal skills with strong negotiation skills
• Outgoing, goal-driven, self-starter with ability to be flexible
• Proficient in Agency Management Software-EPIC a plus
• College degree preferred
