Purpose/Summary

This position will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data related to sales. This position will use various tools to analyze data and evaluate sales trends.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities include the following, however other duties may be assigned

• Collate, analyze and report on sales data. Specifically, collect data from diverse sources to better understand business performance, customer trends and market developments
• Evaluate and predict sales trends.
• Analyze sales reports – must be able to look through sales reports and understand the story that’s being told. Will need to take important sales metrics into consideration to paint a clear picture of how company is performing.
• Develop and maintain sales dashboards & scorecards
• Analyze data to identify areas of improvement
• Monitor performance metrics
• Provide insight on pricing , product positioning and other sales related activities
• Analyze market trends and make recommendations to optimize sales process.
• Work closely with sales team to identify new opportunities and provide insight into customer needs, preferences and challenges.
• Develop & maintain a competitor market share information
• Participate as sales liaison to CFT (cross functional team) as needed for various projects

Education and/or Experience (minimum required for the position)

Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) from four-year College or university, five or more years related sales experience at either a vehicle manufacturers or Tier 1 customers, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Brake manufacturing, brake sales, or component sales experience is highly desirabl
• Experience with ERP Systems (QAD/SAP), is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and organizational skill
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (specifically advanced Excel and Powerpoint)
• Must be quality and outcome driven/oriented; Excellent time management, organizational and strong communication skills are required
