Sales Representatives at Pattersons Home Appliances are the face of our company. As such, having a great attitude and professional appearance are required for this position. In applying for this position, it is preferable that you have previous customer service, retail, or sales experience. Please note that this is a non-commissioned sales position with quarterly bonuses and raises based on performance.

Job responsibilities include:

Maintaining a safe work environment, taking into consideration your safety as well as the safety of other employees and customers.

Welcoming customers and helping them find the right appliances and/or appliance parts.

Entering customer information into our computer system.

Scheduling appliance deliveries.

Taking payments.

Helping keep the store clean between customers.

Performing end-of-day procedures such as closing out the register and getting together paperwork.

Completes required training in the expected time-frame and participates in ongoing learning opportunities. Training may require off-site and overnight travel.

Adheres to company policies/ procedures

Performs other duties as assigned

Job requirements include:

Must be available to work Monday through Saturday

Must have great communication skills verbally/ written

Must have strong computer skills

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Must be willing to work as a team player

Must have a pleasant demeanor and professional image and appearance

Must be able to multitask calmly and efficiently

Must be knowledgeable of appliances

Physically able to pass 50lb. weight lift test and to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform.
