Virtual Defense Technologies (VDT) is seeking a self-motivated, disciplined security sales professional who loves technology solutions that keep businesses and people safe. The right candidate is ready to join VDT’s expert team, and help us proudly deliver results and delight our commercial customers.

The right person will be able to expertly discuss video surveillance, access control, and other low voltage security products & services to generate sales with prospective and existing clients. Our new National Sales Account Manager will have the expertise to create the first draft of project proposals.

Salary:
$50k to $150K+ per year; unlimited earning potential with uncapped commissions

Duties & Responsibilities:
· Network, build, and maintain positive business relationships with clients
· Identify new and prospective customers, generate leads, and close sales;
· Connect with our database of existing customers in the VDT pipeline to explore client needs and increase security solutions that deliver additional peace of mind to the client, while resulting in (residual) reoccurring revenue for you and the company
· Make “cold calls” to the right prospects
· Perform cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
· Develop customized sales proposals that match prospects’ needs
· Create the first draft of project proposals
· Collaborate directly with the VDT team regarding client technology requirements
· Maintain contact lists in the company CRM to track, follow up and continue strong relationships with clients. (CRM training at on-boarding)
· Become knowledgeable about VDT products, services and integrations to best emphasize product features & benefits, highlight how our products solve customer problems, and answer client questions (VDT training included during onboarding)
· Achieve sales quota and hit success metrics
Job Requirements:
· Working knowledge of low voltage systems such as video surveillance, access control, burglar and fire alarms and other technology (Training on other VDT products & services provided)
· Minimum 2 - 4 years sales experience
· Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
· A valid driver’s license
· Ability to work within the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area (VDT's main office is in Plano, Texas)
· A passion for technology solutions
Preferred:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or similar fields
