Job Overview:
Warehouse Direct Kroger CFT, Sr. Sales Analyst

The Senior Sales Analyst serves as owner of Data and Analytics to support the Kroger WD CFT selling team. This role provides the Team Leads with total business analysis and insights geared towards both driving top line growth and protecting the bottom line.
In this role, you are the key support for the WD Sr. Director and Business Leads. You are a critical link between Sales, Category Management, and Supply Chain to build business reviews that share results on objectives, provide actionable insights, and drive to deliver against company KPIs.
This role will work on high impact initiatives actively protecting the bottom line and looking for top line growth opportunities. High proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Tableau, IRI, Market 6, and 84.51 data to build actionable insights is fundamental.

Responsibilities/Key Objectives
  • Total Team Business Reporting
    • Market 6/IRI/Margin Minder business results reporting and analysis to provide insights for key priorities and business drivers
    • View business from WD portfolio perspective to identify strategic areas of focus where we can drive the most Revenue/Volume/Profitability where it aligns with our KPIs
  • Support NAE Team
    • Track/Rank/Publish Field Sales team to drive further productivity and accountability
    • Work with NAEs on Strategic initiatives across total KDP WD business

Requirements:
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required with a minimum 5 years of experience, or a Master’s degree preferred and a minimum 3 years of experience, in sales, category, business analytics or related field
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy while proficient in Kroger data systems such as Market 6, 84.51 Stratum, and syndicated data systems (Nielsen, IRI)
  • Ability to complete projects and organize work independently
  • Experience developing business recommendations that contribute to maximizing sales plans and customer support
  • Demonstrated success in sales, category management and/or analytics supporting key accounts
  • Strong motivation and track record of turning complex data into actionable insights
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
