Position Title: Bulk Sales Support Specialist
Primary Location: West Chicago, IL
Alternative Location : Elk Grove Village, IL / Rockford, IL / Milwaukee, WI

The Bulk Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting our teams in the management of commercial, operational, financial, contractual and general administrative aspects of our bulk gas business. The Bulk Sales Support Specialist requires a professional that is well organized, able to extract data from multiple ERP systems and versed in commercial transactions related to sales, operations, and contracting in the industrial gas business, as well as strong customer service (both internal and external), communication and problem management skills.
  • Acts as a liaison among our sales, operations and project management teams with the goal of providing an exemplary customer experience for our Midwest Region’s Bulk Gas customers and prospects.
  • Aids our Midwest Bulk Sales Specialists with the efficient fulfillment of customer requests and initiatives, including but not limited to customer letters, billing questions, product usage data, salesforce.com and contract related communications.
  • Manages and maintains key documents and commercial databases, including but not limited to [please apply online] Bulk contract database, and Google Drive.
  • Monitors all new installations, removals and other key projects with the sales, operations and project management teams as well as Safety and AMG distribution to ensure proper project tracking, data management and the accuracy of all pricing and project costs.
  • Routinely involved in Project Review Meetings to track installations and removals to ensure proper Term Management and Billing implementation.
  • Develops and maintains a central database to manage service installation data and paperwork, ensuring first fill and upgrade information exists to determine first fill dates and proper billing.
  • Obtains data as needed from the variety of sources available to our Bulk Group, including but not limited to SAP; PROS; and BW, in order to support our Sales, Operations, Finance, Pricing and support teams
  • Maintains the organization and data acquisition from our internal business intelligence resources provided to support our customers, sales and operations teams including but not limited to: [please apply online] Google Drive and Power BI.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business/finance management work experience.
Required Length & Type of Experience:
  • 2+ years related experience in bulk and package gas or related energy industry desired.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial operating and contracting principles and practices.
  • Sound analytical skills.
  • Experience working across functional business units to develop effective business solutions that align with company and business unit / department objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in platforms including SAP, Business Warehouse, PROs and Salesforce preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the Google Suite of products including Docs, Sheets and Slides.
  • Fundamental understanding of basic accounting and financial reporting practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Experience in project planning, management including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk quality, integration, procurement, and communications.
