Marketing / Sales Specialist

Established in 1970, Prestige Sales Company Inc. is a family owned storage and material handling equipment provider located in Chattanooga, Tennessee (with a regional sales office in Marietta,
Georgia). Whether it be pallet rack, shelving, automated storage equipment, mezzanines, modular offices, guard rail, or one of our other product offerings, PSC prides itself on partnering with customers on every step of the process from concept / design to installation. While focused primarily in servicing the southeast, PSC has completed numerous projects nationwide. From stock orders to completely revamping operations, no job is too big or too small. PSC is seeking a driven individual who is excited to "wear multiple hats".

From a marketing standpoint, PSC is looking for a creative mind who can help bring light to the impressive projects we are a part of. This includes website refinement, social media management, newsletter development, presentation support, and other general marketing activities (i.e., physical handouts, photography of local installations). The keys to this aspect of the position are cleverness, attention to detail, and willingness to try new ideas.

From a sales standpoint, this employee will support outside sales representatives in gathering information and pulling together proposals. The position is fast paced, and it will be essential for this individual to be comfortable with balancing multiple projects all at the same time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of the storage and material handling equipment industry, and the intricacies of each product offering that PSC distributes
  • Refine existing company website and keep up to date with latest company information
  • Maintain social media channels (currently Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube), and execute campaigns
  • Own creating quarterly newsletters and physical material (i.e., sales representative material, apparel)
  • Make trips to local installations to interview customers and photograph / video installations
  • Support outside sales representative projects (i.e., proposals, presentations)
  • Prospect regional sales opportunities

Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Previous inside sales and marketing experience is preferred
  • Strong professional communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical understanding of products
  • Effective at prioritizing tasks and driving them to completion
  • Experience with reporting to management on ongoing efforts
  • Strong ability to think from another's point of view
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and managing professional platforms
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (with strong PowerPoint skills)
  • WordPress experience is preferred

Experience:

  • 2+ Years of Sales or Marketing Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
