Summary:
Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory/product line. Duties & Responsibilities:

The VIAVI NSE Sales Early Careers program recruits the best and brightest College Grads interested in pursuing a career in Sales. You’ll begin your career in our Inside Sales organization where you will learn from other Inside Sales representatives, preparing you to ulitmately work on one of our many Field Sales teams. You’ll collaborate with colleagues, VIAVI Channel Partners and customers to idenfity needs and position innovative software and hardware solutions for manufacturing, designing, deploying and optimizing all types of networks.

As a contributor to the VIAVI Inside Sales Team, you will learn business process as well as a grounded knowledge of best-in-class infrastructure and networking technology. With those skill sets you will work to uncover and develop new business opportunities and work effectively with our Channel Partner ecosystem. You’ll begin building your technology sales acumen with this daily work:
- Process and create leads daily in an efficient and timely manner
- Understand the process of lead flow and qualification of leads to appropriate sales team or distribution partner
- Create quotes for partners; promote and manage partner Deal Registration
- Manage channel partnerships by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through adherence to channel rules of engagement
- Coordinate with other business units and marketing to help generate revenue and increase leads
- Support team by providing knowledge and coordinating training sessions on products and procedures
- Increase mind share of VIAVI Solutions within partner community
- Develop account contacts and intelligence that will bring incremental revenue for VIAVI today and in the future
- Develop partner contacts and intelligence that will bring additional revenue; serve as liaison between VIAVI and key personnel in assigned partner accounts
- Establish and develop productive, professional relationships with key contacts in assigned partner accounts
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources to meet partner performance objectives, quota and partners’ expectations
- Support assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts
- Proactively assess, clarify and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis
- Sell through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources
- Collaborate with Channel Marketing to devise and develop channel marketing programs and promotions that align with sales goals

- BA/BS Degree
- Previous sales/customer service experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build lasting relationships, both internally and externally, which foster long term business growth for both VIAVI and our Channel Partners
- Customer first mentality: tenacious in solving partner and end customer problems and exceeding their expectations.
- Clear thinker and problem solver in complex situations; able to work under strict deadlines and balance varying priorities that exist at any one time
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word)
- Results-oriented
- Self-starter with abilities to work independently and remotely as well as with a team
