As a Sales and Business Development Executive, you will work to identify and attract business opportunities in the US & Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and attracting new business opportunities, and understanding the needs of prospective and existing customers
- Acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for customers to assist them with the decision-making process, and educating them on the services we offer
- Working in collaboration with other departments to ensure offerings are as competitive and fair as possible
- Creating quotes and bid proposals and presenting them to prospective customers
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or another related field
- North American (Canada / U.S.) market knowledge
- Proficient with Office 365
- Experience with critical freights, CRM (Salesforce), and OTR, are considered assets
- 3+ years of FFW and/or logistics experience
- 3+ years of Air and Ocean freight experience
- 3+ years of Inbound Sales and business development experience
