A Wholesale Distributor for Greenhouse-Nursery Supplies, Equipment and plant material to the commercial grower. We are hiring a Purchasing/Sales/customer service Rep. Activities in purchasing for all hardgoods and supplies sold and utilized within the company. This position overseas all hardgoods inventory for warehouse, develops inventory reports, tracks inventory accuracy, and optimizes inventory control procedures. You will interact with our highly-valued customers to provide them with information in response to in-bound sales and inquiries regarding products and services. Opening new accounts, helping to resolve concerns or complaints, placing new orders and apprising sales team and customers of the status of orders are among the daily duties.

Job duties Include but limited to:

• Plan, monitor & track inventory inbound receipts.
• Building relationships with Vendors
• Analyzing customer data and work to develop resolutions for issues
• Maintaining Vendor pricing and customer price in the computer software
• Ensure product are delivered safely in a timely manner as per customer criteria.
• Evaluate orders to determine the most cost-effective way to utilize vendor programs to acquire inventory.
• Identify opportunities for greater efficiency or cost savings
• Continually improve purchasing/inventory methods and processes.
• Create detailed reports for inventory adjustments
• Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction & financial commitments are achieved to our standards.
• Prepare reports, negotiate pricing with suppliers to improve efficiency of company supply chain.
• Work closely with Sales Team/Vendors/Customers.
• Serve as a role model for teamwork, cooperation, customer focus, professionalism, and enthusiasm for the job.
• Stay organized and STAY in contact with customers if there are any changes in their anticipated products or services (ex: back orders, Delays) and update the sales/Purchase Order
• Maintain accurate up-to-date availability on vendor’s inventory (Lead Times)
• Prepare and mail/e-mail customers any requested material either direct request or from an Outside sales team member
• Assist other team members with their sales and follow-up as needed
• Assist customers in making selections for hardgoods based on their specific needs and applications
• Adhere to company and vendor policy on all interactions with customers regarding products and services
• Use reports, and other techniques to troubleshoot issues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
