Full description of the position

Looking for a professional with good automotive diagnostic experience to help us demonstrate, sell and support automotive scan tools in the Boston/Northeastern Massachusetts area/Southern NH area.

ABOUT THE COMPANY: CAS sells automotive scan tools to independent repair shops, municipalities, fleet operators and schools. The majority of our sales are for actual OEM factory scan tools, the exact same tools used by franchised new car and truck dealers. Based in Massachusetts, we deliver scan tools both nationally and internationally and have been in business continuously since 1995. We are genuinely committed to bringing the 'Best in Class' Diagnostic Tools, Information and after sale support to the general aftermarket repair industry.

CAS offers OE and aftermarket Scan Tool solutions for Domestic, European and Asian vehicles, Heavy-Duty trucks, Motorcycles, Marine and stationary equipment.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The candidate we are looking for will probably have years of automotive diagnostic experience and know well that the scan tool solutions being offered by the Tool Truck guys and parts houses fall far short of being able to get into all the systems being encountered by shops today, leaving Shop owners frustrated when their investment didn’t meet expectations.

Instead of trying to shoe-horn the prospect into a “it does everything!” tool from one manufacturer, CAS Representatives have the ability to come to the owner’s business and offer a hands-on demonstration from a wide variety of different OE and aftermarket solutions. Sure, there are Internet sellers with multiple tool lines, but nothing beats an on-site comparison. Additionally, when the sale happens, the CAS rep does the initial on-site training and acts as the initial support contact. No other company comes close to offering this!

Although this is sales position, the title on your card will read ‘Automotive Consultant’ as it more closely describes the activities of our representatives, who through a consulting approach help customers find the best solution to their technical needs.

WHO SHOULD APPLY:
The ideal candidate will live in the Boston/Northeastern Massachusetts area/Southern NH area, and have years of actual automotive diagnostic experience (OEM scan tool experience a plus) and a real desire and ability to show others the tremendous advantages of using the latest advanced scan tools. You are probably the go to guy that helps others understand diagnostic challenges.

This position would be ideal for:

· Automotive techs looking to get away from the daily grind and physical demands of a shop.

· Automotive instructors looking for a change.

· Past Shop Owners looking to capitalize on their experience.

· Service Advisors with good diagnostic experience who want more control over their income.

INCOME: 50K to 100K range, with some making well above this. Perhaps more telling than the income, however, is that CAS is a great place to work. Our average sales rep has been with the company over 10 years! You will join a highly-skilled group of professionals, many with ASE L1 qualifications.
