J.R. Johnson, LLC is a local general contractor with over 53 years in business and is currently seeking a Business Development Manager - Salary position to join the Portland team.

Potential Business Development Managers should have the following experience/abilities:

· Knowledge/experience in the construction industry is a huge plus.

· Contacts/experience in the HOA, Property Management, Commercial and/or building maintenance industries/fields.

· Marketing event coordination.

· Professional yet personable, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.

· Strong organizational and communication skills.

· Digital media, and strong social media skills are a plus.

· Knowledge of CRM platforms and skilled in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe

Responsibilities for this position will include but not be limited to:

· Cold calling and business to business visits to create new business leads.

· Maintain and enhance current and developing business relationships.

· Maintaining client satisfaction through follow up and assistance as needed.

· Develop marketing strategies.

· Plan and lead client meetings and presentations.

· Meet monthly and annual sales goals.

· Scheduling and maintaining a calendar of company events, while suggesting new events that may be beneficial to attend.

· Organizing, attending, manning, and setting up for scheduled company events.

· Work with various departments to ensure company product promotions, sales, development and effective marketing campaigns.
