We are a Portland based Tile and Stone Company that deals with the construction, design, and supply industries. We are located in downtown Portland now but moving to inner SE soon.

We are seeking highly organized and extremely detail-oriented individuals for a sales assistant position. It is a full-time position with benefits (PTO, health/dental/vision insurance, 401k)

You will be primarily responsible for learning the core tasks associated with the estimating, sales assisting, and sample specialist roles in order to provide support to sales teams as needed.

Your responsibilities will include the following (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions)

• Supporting estimating by assembling quotations and issuing them to clients.
• Supporting sample specialist in pulling, entering, and shipping sample requests.
• Supporting sales assistants in sourcing projects and documenting submittal samples and shipments.
• Assisting Materials team as needed in replenishing samples on the shelf.
• Assisting Operations as need in customer service-related communications.
• Adheres to company policies, processes, and procedures.
• Perform other duties/special projects as needed.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Required Education and Experience:

1. Associates degree and/or equivalent work experience.

2. Organization, time management skills, able to meet deadlines.

3. Strong independent problem-solving skills.

4. Good customer services and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to handle a high volume of transactions.

6. PC proficiency and MS Office experience, Outlook, Word, Excel.
