POSITION SUMMARY:

Drives continuous growth of Miller Paint sales to Property Management Companies and HOA’s. Ideal candidate has paint/construction-related sales experience and current relationships with Property Management Companies in the Greater Portland/Vancouver area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Sales Initiatives

• Works directly with Portfolio Managers and Community Management firms to specify Miller Paint for maintenance turns and exterior repaint projects
• Identifies and opens new Property Management accounts on a consistent basis
• Creates and delivers sales presentations to HOA’s and Property Management Portfolio Managers
• Conducts Miller Paint product trainings for multi-family maintenance staff
• Forecasts sales based on history, prospect lists and market analysis
• Establishes and maintains competitive price quotes, maintaining a knowledge of market pricing
• Through market knowledge and relationships, identifies and secures multi-family repaint projects using Miller Paint products and services.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Sales experience, ideally within the paint and/or construction materials business
• Experience within the Property Management segment ideal
• Ability to create quotes based on market pricing and calculate gross margins
• Strong documentation skills as needed for written reports, quotes, expenses, mileage and activity reports
• Strong problem solving, attention to detail and follow up skills
• General understanding of architectural paints and coatings
• Consistent driving & phone use
• Ability to work with wide range of external customers and internal support
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Adobe and other standard Microsoft Office programs
• Conducts meetings and presentation via Skype, Zoom and other platforms as needed
• Strong time management & scheduling skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
