Growth opportunities don’t just appear. RingCentral is looking for a Sales Development Manager to lead our Denver Sales Development teams. Our next leader should have a proven track record of success, a verifiable history of exceeding sales goals personally and through a sales team, and the aptitude and demeanor to make a difference in a fun, fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Have conversations with your individual team members, with prospects, with the Director & VP of the SDR department.
- Work with your team to truly understand their why, what, and how? Why do they do what they do? What do they want to accomplish in the next step of their career? What about the next step after that? Why?
- Mentor, empower, and influence the sales development team to exceed targets
- A firm grasp of Salesforce.com reporting and dashboards are a must
- Interface with marketing on a weekly basis to collaborate on increasing conversion rates, and exceeding opportunity targets
- Nurture and qualify leads for the sales organization
- Train staff on Company processes, policies, and procedures
- Identify needs for and drive process improvements
- Effectively prioritize multiple tasks, projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Sets the example for Sales Development Representatives in areas of personal character, dedication, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
- Develop & present weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on each team's conversion rates, performance, spend, etc.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of sales experience
- 1+ years of proven leadership directly managing a team or as Team Lead
- Strong time management, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and collaborative selling skills
- Strong grasp of SalesForce.com dashboards and reports
- Results-oriented leader who defines and manages achievement of performance objectives
- B2B selling / Software / SaaS experience preferred
- Strong business acumen is a must, experience with small to medium size business end customers is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including listening and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others
- Self starter with a history of great decision making, planning, and execution to results
- Ability to excel in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get things done while having fun
