The Sales Executive position will operate closely with the operations teams to onboard and service new accounts. Have confidence in the service delivery with an experienced and top of class carrier sales team to back you up. We require someone who is hungry, looking for the next opportunity and the desire to get ahead.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Soliciting new and existing accounts
• Work with hunter mentality to sign up new accounts
• Setup & Conduct onboarding calls with operations teams
• Follow up with accounts regularly to ensure top service levels are being met
• Obtain and research leads for potential shippers through various sources
• Research missed opportunities with existing accounts
• Network with internal operations teams to find potential leads inside existing accounts
• Alerting operations team to potential delays
• Work potential customers and industries to align with company operations

Activities & Skills Required:

• Soliciting potential customers via phone, email, online, etc. – 30 per day
• Ask probing questions to potential customers
• Research using online tools, internal systems, management, etc.
• Must be organized, able to multi-task multiple accounts
• Work with IT systems and online tools for researching customers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred
• Word, Excel, Internet and general computer proficiency
• Logistics and/or trucking experience - 2 year minimum
