Full description of the position

JOB SUMMARY

The Americare Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the agent call center, managing workflow, achieving results, recruiting, hiring, and motivation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of the department including development, measurement, evaluation, workflow, setting priorities, and sales activities. Ensure adequate work production and quality control by assessing incoming work and staffing levels, communicating company policies and decisions, answering questions, and making work assignments.
  • Manage direct reports including providing feedback, fostering a positive work environment, training to ensure correct work methods and procedures, hiring, and performance management.
  • Analyzes weekly sales metrics and management reports, evaluates activity, measures performance and conducts regular performance meetings and evaluations with staff.
  • Manages resources to achieve goals and sales activities in order to meet documented standards by employing established management and motivation techniques.
  • Conducts research and collaborates with marketing and sales force to stary abreast of product information.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED required. Bachelor’s in marketing, insurance, business, or related field, a plus.
  • Ability to gain and maintain valid applicable resident and nonresident agent licenses.

Experience

  • 5+ years sales and/or sales support experience in a call center environment, with at least 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Insurance industry, a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Primarily works in an office environment performing work that is sedentary which involves remaining stationary and working on a computer for long periods of time.

  • Regularly communicates with others in-person, via video conferencing, electronically (including email), or by phone to exchange accurate information.
