This is a full time position that is responsible for internal financial modeling and forecasting; capital project/M&A financial modeling and valuation; and market research and analysis. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
These positions are responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining internal financial revenue models.
- Financial modeling for pipeline deal analysis by working with Engineering, Business Development and Accounting. Changes model as deal evolves.
- Determining value of acreage dedication for pipeline mainline and gathering development.
- Developing presentations to model business opportunities to assist in understanding the economics.
- Building proposals for partnering with other businesses.
- Working with Business Development to analyze and respond to customer RFPs.
- Assisting with deal evaluation process to accelerate decision-making timeline.
- Providing regular basin analysis to help determine basin results by operator and identify where business development opportunities exist.
- Developing processes to take external and internal data to produce a Rockies focused oil and gas business intelligence product to improve all True companies marketing and business develop efforts.
- Supporting pipeline and other company operations in developing and going to market with business development and marketing ideas.
- Be a member of the valuation team that prepares valuations of True companies operations for estate planning and other purposes and also defends valuations against regulatory challenges.
Minimum requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or engineering or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- 2+ years of experience in midstream or related oil and gas field as well as experience performing operational and financial analysis.
- Strong financial modeling skills.
- Strong financial accounting skills.
- Proficiency in Database Management, Statistical Programming, Data Visualization
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
